Club Night: Architecture
This month’s theme is Architecture, inviting photographers to explore the intricate beauty and structural elegance of the built environment.

Club Night: Photo Series
The final theme of this year’s Cathay Camera Club competition, as tradition dictates, is “Photo Series”. This invites members to exhibit their most compelling work through a set of interconnected photographs that together form a cohesive narrative or visual exploration.
Creating a photo series provides an excellent opportunity for our members to demonstrate their ability to develop and present a unified concept. A photo series comprises a series of images—three or more—that share a common theme and are edited with consistent stylistic choices.
This year’s “Photo Series” theme challenges our members to refine not only their technical expertise but also their capacity for visual storytelling and thematic consistency. By adhering to these principles, photographers can produce a compelling, sophisticated body of work worthy of distinguished recognition within the club.

Club Night: Disposable Camera
This month’s challenge is “Disposable Camera.” Embrace the spontaneity and unique imperfections of analog photography by capturing moments with a disposable camera. Whether it’s the nostalgic grain, unexpected light leaks, or the element of surprise that comes with this medium, we encourage you to let creativity lead your lens.
Our guest judge for this challenge is renowned photographer Cyril Delettre, founder of La Galerie Paris 1839, an esteemed art gallery dedicated exclusively to photography. His discerning eye and profound appreciation for the medium bring exceptional insight to our competition.
We eagerly anticipate your interpretations of this challenge, as you reveal the genuine beauty concealed within the raw and unfiltered reality of analog photography. Let your creativity flourish in its most elemental and compelling form.
