This month, Cathay Camera Club is honored to welcome Donny Zhou as our guest judge to appraise the remarkable work of our members. The theme, “Are, Bure, Boke”, challenges photographers to embrace an anti-intuitive photographic technique that originated in Japan. This approach celebrates the raw, the blurry, and the out-of-focus, inviting a departure from conventional clarity to evoke emotion and atmosphere.
