Annual General Meeting 2017

cropped-Logo-transparent-copy.pngDear Members,

Firstly let me say a very happy new year to you all.

The AGM is just around the corner this coming Monday 16th Jan at our usual venue upstairs in Ibericos restaurant at 18 Shelley Street. The meeting will start at 7.30pm.

After the usual Chairman and treasurers reports the main agenda of the AGM will be to nominate and elect the various committee members, discuss and decide what to do about the club nights (so poorly attended) and to decide whether the competition night changes made at last years AGM stay or revert back to the old rules (this was the condition of the changes implemented that they be on a one year trial basis). Additionally there will be a few other small matters and any other things the members may wish to bring up and put before the membership.

Please note the first scheduled competition night of the year falls on the 30th Jan which is CNY so this will meeting will need to be moved to an alternative suitable date also to be decided during the AGM.

Finally may I please remind you to settle the Xmas dinner fees ($388 + 10%SC = $426.80 per person) if you haven’t already done so to the club account via bank or ATM transfer as soon as you can.

As always if a Black Rainstorm Warning or Pre-No. 8 Special Announcement or Typhoon Warning Signal No. 8 or above is issued or in effect 2 hours prior to the meeting start, the meeting will be cancelled without notice.
